Community Studio Program
Each RCI Community Studio will be independently run but must provide educational programming that supports the mission of the RCI. The partnership terms are 12 month with an annual option to renew.
If accepted into the program, RCI Community Studios receive granted tools/equipment that help to foster and develop a local community of artists and crafts people.
In return, RCI Community Studios agree to provide affordable access to shared equipment and they will provide educational and professional opportunities, projects, and collaborations in agreement with the RCI.
RCI Community Studios Members Requirements:
Attend quarterly meetings
Communicate projects/workshops and coordinate projects and programs with RCI
Provide community access to the RCI granted equipment
Maintain RCI granted equipment
Establish monthly fees for students/studio members in agreement with RCI
Incentives:
Full access to the provided equipment for personal/professional use
Promotion of workshops and studio via RCI
10% discount on registration to other RCI Community Studios partner workshops
Opportunities to participate in RCI member activities (exhibitions,projects,etc.)
Participate in Partnership Group decision-making (attend quarterly Partnership meetings, committee vote, communicate with RCI group about projects/needs ideas)
Grant support through RCI and the RCI’s 501c3 status
